Returns and Refunds

Prescription medicine

Regulation, for reasons of safety, does not allow medication once issued to be returned. The pharmacy are not therefore able to use returned medication. If you have unwanted medication please take it to a pharmacy for safe disposal.

You can cancel an order for medication up until the point where the doctor issues a prescription. This can be done by going to your 'My Account' area, clicking on the order and then clicking cancel. Please note, a doctor may issue a prescription within minutes or hours of an order being placed.

If the Doctor, for any reason, decides not to issue a prescription for an ordered medication you will be notified by email and a full refund will be made to your card within a few days.

You will be able to see the reason the prescription could not be issued in your 'My Account' area where you can exchange messages with the doctors. It is unusual for the doctor not to issue a prescription after an order has been placed because the consultations are structured to provide all the necessary information for issuing prescriptions.

Unwanted non-prescription goods

For unwanted non-prescription items you are entitled, under distance selling regulation, to a refund if you inform us in writing, including the order number of the item, at within 7 days and return the item unopened in its original packaging, with seals unbroken, to the dispensing pharmacy (the dispensing pharmacy details will be in the 'The pharmacy has dispensed your order' email you will have received). You will be given a reference number at the time you send your notice to cancel. A fee of £3.00 will be deducted from your refund to cover administration. Items returned without a reference number first being issued will not qualify for a refund. Please note that if the item is damaged by the process of return an appropriate sum will be deducted from your refund. We recommend that you return unwanted good by registered post.

Damaged or faulty goods

Damaged or faulty goods can be returned and a full refund will be given including your postage costs. Please inform us first by email at of your intention to return faulty goods including, the nature of the fault, order number and your postage costs. Please ensure that the returned item is packaged safely to avoid further damage and include all the original packaging. We recommend that you return faulty goods by register mail. Please note that if the item is further damaged by the process of return an appropriate sum will be deducted from your refund. Please return to the dispensing pharmacy (the dispensing pharmacy details will be in the 'The pharmacy has dispensed your order' email you will have received).
