Natural Hormone Tablets

Regulations prevent us from naming the prescription medication we supply for jet lag because it is licensed in the UK only as a short term treatment for insomnia, but not for jet lag. It is, however, used throughout the world to treat jet lag.

The body produces a natural hormone called melatonin the level of which goes up and down in a cycle over each day. Melatonin helps to regulate sleep and wakefulness. Boosting the amount of this hormone in the body in the evening reduces tiredness in the day and restlessness at night. Studies on the use of natural hormone for the treatment of jet lag.

Who benefits

Jet Lag occurs when flights cross 3 or more hours in time zones. Jet Lag tends to be worse when flying East, for example to Thailand and Asia, than when traveling West.

Natural hormone Dosage

Take one natural hormone tablet daily in the evening on arrival at destination. Take the tablet close to the time you want to sleep, usually around 10pm in the evening local time. Use once each evening until a new sleep pattern is established. Should not be used continuously for more than five days. One prescription pack will cover four courses of treatment.
